Our Current Oldest Living Firefighter is Chief is Cullen Chalker.
The owners of Firehouse Subs honored him with a plaque
displayed at their Beach Boulevard store.

A 100 year birthday celebration
luncheon is planned to honor the Chief on Wednesday July 10,
2024 to be held at the firefighter hall.

President John Wood acquired thousands of
photographs taken by the late Wayne Doolittle. If you are a
retired or active-duty Jacksonville firefighter you are
invited to join President John Wood at the Firefighter Hall
to review the pictures at the monthly breakfast. An effort is being made to identify
as many people in these pictures as possible. There several
upcoming viewing events so if you miss one there
will be others due to the volume of pictures needing review.

Retired Firefighter Breakfast and JAXRFA Meeting

Thursday of each month.
The breakfast will
be held at the Firefighter Hall at 08:00 |

The Widow's / Widower's luncheon will be held 10:00 AM -
1:00 PM on Thursday April 25 at the Firefighter Hall
All JFRD widows and widowers are encouraged
to attend. If you know of one who is unaware of the event,
please let us know. We will provide transportation to and
from the event if needed.
Volunteer workers are welcomed to the

THE 2024 FOOF SCHEDULE
NOTE: Due to the
upcoming demolition of the white building which contains the
kitchen, it is unclear when a replacement will be available.
Therefore, we are able to schedule events but may have to
cancel due to demolition and or construction. Updates will
be posted as soon as they are available,
All FOOF Dinner and Dances will be held at the Firefighters
Hall,
618 Stockton St. with social hour beginning at 6pm
dinner at 7pm on the date listed, unless otherwise
announced.
Reminders will be emailed 1-2 weeks before
each event.
